Tywan Williams
No one can bring the HEAT like Atlanta’s own Tywan M Williams, the Hair Entertainer. From his first inspiring moment at the Bronner Bros. Hair Show, Tywan knew he had found his calling and has since excelled at perfecting couture fashions, trendy cuts, and elegant up-do’s. Tywan’s career took off when he became a featured stylist in Flava’s Salon and Platinum Touch, Atlanta’s hottest salons. His first Editorial was for Good News Magazine where he was the Master Stylist during the summer of 2003. Soon to follow were Editorials in Black Men Magazine, H2O, Fitness Magazine, King Magazine, Angela’s Run Down, Hype Hair, Image Chicago, African Magazine, The Flyer Wire, Urban Latino and The Source.
When Tywan made the move to NYC, it didn’t take long for Hollywood, professional sports figures, and NYC period – to recognize this talented artist. Leading ladies Sanaa Lathan, Regina Hall, Lady Saw, Tweetie of MTV, Tangi Miller, Cheri Dennis, WNBA star Andre Stimpon and Kelvin Grysbroski of the Atlanta Braves, hit shows like The View, ABC’s Early Morning Show, CNN and MTV, all came calling. As key stylist on two independent films “Creating Karma” and “Playing Doctor”, Tywan’s creativity sets him apart from all other stylists in the industry today. Tywan has also worked with celebrities including Ne-Yo, Ray J, Razah, Young Steff, Karina Pasain, Angelica Tucker and Jade of America Next Top Model.
Tywan now travels the country teaching other stylists his skills and techniques.
