About The Show
Everybody growing up dreams of becoming a star. But few ever have the chance to live out that fantasy. To Be A Star ™ is a groundbreaking interactive web series that follows the journey of 10 young women in their pursuit of stardom. The girls spend 3 months in New York City, working with a team of top professionals from the entertainment and fashion industries, and we watch in awe as they evolve both professionally and personally.
The 10-week season is full of action-packed episodes, thrilling challenges and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. From acting to modeling, branding to marketing, dance, voice, fashion, design and everything in between, we learn what it really takes… TO BE A STAR!
Throughout the season, viewers are invited to communicate with the cast and mentors in real-time, through:
- To Be A Star ™ on-site social community
- Personal Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and YouTube profiles
- Regularly updated status updates, Tweets, photo & video galleries

To Be A Star ™ is NOT another reality show! This is REAL!
We believe that brands belong to consumers and so too should the entertainment they consume. We believe reality programming can be entertaining and even educational without being diluted by manufactured theatrics and the degradation of its participants – perhaps even uplifting & empowering.
We live in an era of social media and online interactivity. We all want to share experiences with friends and strangers alike, and communities like Facebook and Twitter allow us to do that in real time, 24/7. We at LME are committed to providing viewers and consumers with fun, exciting and interactive original programming where social community & interactivity are integrated into the fabric of the experience.
Our programs fuse education with entertainment and social engagement, and that is what consumers of all ages and backgrounds are looking for.
With that, we present to you, To Be A Star ™.
