Tara has been a makeup and eyebrow artist since 2002. In 2006, she completed the Journeyman Program for beauty and character/EFX makeup at Makeup Designory in New York City; helping to sharpen her skills as a beauty artist and expand her talents into the world of bruises, burns and prosthetics.

Tara works extensively with plus-size fashion, which has helped open many doors to the broader fashion and entertainment world, allowing her to work with celebrities for MTV, BET, CW11, Essence Magazine, Plus Model Magazine, Bad Boy Entertainment, and an array of other networks and publications.
