Marcarthur Baralla is a Director/Cinematographer/Producer and Writer based in Brooklyn with his company Defendshee Productions.
After Marcarthur earned a Business degree, he decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking. He earned a degree in Film Production and started his production company, Defendshee Productions. He moved to New York in 2006 and now lives in Brooklyn, NY.

In the last five years, Marcarthur has produced live concerts, directed music videos, and worked as a DP in short films and music video. He has also gained general production experience in camera (assistant camera, camera operator) as well as electrical department (gaffer, grip), and webcasting coordinator. His work has been seen in festivals in the US and Canada, and he has traveled all over the country, the Women’s Media Center, Mamapolooza and ARM organization in Toronto.

Today, Marcarthur works as a Director/Cinematographer with Defendshee Productions and other production companies.
