Merry Christmas Eve Everybody :) :) I have been having such an excellent time here in Canada with my family. From the minute I landed, Canada has been non-stop fun because of the activities and places we’ve gone to. We started off Day 1 watching a movie at the house. We watched “The Devil Wears Prada,” until like 3 am, but before that we (My brother and I) had an excellent gourmet dinner that was ready from the moment we entered the apartment. However, today’s movie night…

Day 1 consisted of going to the Halifax Shopping Center, as well as having family come over afterwards to just hang out and chill. And… In case you’re wondering, I bought a lot of clothes that were cheap and on sale for the holidays.

Day 2 was really nice and relaxing because I went downtown where it’s pretty much “city life” to visit my friend’s restaurant, as me and my uncle decided to walk around a little to enjoy the huge shopping facilities. After downtown’s extravaganza we (my uncle, brother, cousins and I) went to my aunt’s house for our second gourmet dinner, after which we played pool with my uncle, went shopping again, then came home and watched another movie.

Day 3 was sick! We went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks II in the movie theaters, then we went out to eat at a delicious place called Dairy Queen that served me my marshmallow sundae and other yummy sweets (omg were they were yummy)… I have such a sweet tooth :) . Then after that we went home to change our clothes because there was a hefty snow blizzard occurring, but even the snow blizzard didn’t stop us from going out. Oh yes!!! We built a SNOWMAN and had Snowball fights. It was like ten of us having snowball fights and rolling around in the snow. We are so close to going sledding, oh yes I’m talking about dog Sledding.

Day 4 It’s Christmas Eve!!! Merry Christmas to Canada and New York. :) :) Today was fun because I got to witness something I never thought I would witness. I witnessed my first Soboh (The Celebration of a new born baby) It was one big Middle Eastern party, that consisted of Arabic dancing, singing, food and baby pink decorations, which was set up with baby décor. While all this happens, the crowd awaits the baby to come down with the mother and grandmother. After this happens they walk around a table in circles with the baby as everybody makes really loud noises by cheering, hooting, hollering, screaming and clapping. It was such an amazing event. It was really fun, different and exciting to watch/attend.

Day 5 So it’s Christmasss!!! Yay!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!! I spent a wonderful day in Halifax, Canada with my family. I woke up late and spent an awesome morning with the family. We ate breakfast with the entire family. Then we topped off our day with just hanging out with family at the house, after which we met at the movie theater and saw “It’s complicated!!!” This movie put the cherry on top!! Then later at night we had time for gift exchanging.

I’m glad you enjoyed my stories, will you keep you filled in. <3
